Obituary of Nancy Louise Sharpnack

Nancy Louise Sharpnack, 72, of Fairmont, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at the Fairmont Health and Rehabilitation Center. Nancy was born in Fairmont on September 22, 1943, a daughter of Vonda Faye Haddix Freeman of North Carolina and the late Paul Freeman. In addition to her mother, Nancy is survived by her daughter, Lora Haun and her husband Ronnie of Rivesville; her four grandchildren, Jenna Hall of Canonsburg, PA, Maggie Hall of Rivesville, Brandon Haun of Fairmont and Andrew Haun of Rivesville; her two sisters, Paulette Trimble of Fairmont and Becky Cole and her husband Rob of North Carolina; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Mrs. Sharpnack was a 1961 graduate of Rivesville High School and was Christian by faith. She was a retired clerk from Ames Department Store. She enjoyed working with arts and crafts and loved being with family and friends. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Friday, July 22, 2016, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday, July 23, 2016, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at 10 a.m. A private committal service will be held for the family at on a later date.
