Obituary of James A. Singleton

James A. Singleton, 64, of South Fairmont, WV passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. He was born on November 3, 1956 and was a graduate of Braxton County High School. He worked as a crane operator at Local #132 Operators Engineers. Jimmy was in a band in the early 70’s called Diamond Back with his friends Jimmy Singleton, Jimmy Litton, and Jeff Ware. Jimmie is survived by his father, Archie (Linda) Singleton; mother, Liz Knight and Jack Thornburg; brother, Mike (Linna) Singleton; uncle, Henry (Sharon) Singleton; as well as all his friends from the Sutton Lake. “Sail on you ole Salty Dog, Sail On” The family has entrusted arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554.
