Obituary of Mary Grace Cross Emling

Mary Grace Cross Emling (Nee Southern), 88, of Sagamore Hills, OH, formerly of Bridgeport, WV, passed away on August 7, 2021. She was born a daughter of the late Burl and Mary D. Doak Southern. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Emling, as well as her previous husband, Allen Cross. Mary is survived by her loving step-children, Larry and his wife Sharon Emling, Pamela and her husband Lee Trunk, Ken and his wife Maria Emling, Sharry and her husband Michael Zeman, her 11 dear grandchildren, two dear great-grandchildren, her loving siblings, Barbara and her husband Paul Yeater, Jimmy and his wife Penny Southern, Diana and her husband Ernie Morgan, and many special nieces and nephews In addition to her husbands, Mary was preceded in death by her beloved son, Mark Cross, and her sister, Jean and her husband Jim Johnson. Memorial donations may be made to Traditions Hospice, 207 Portage Trail Ext. W, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Following funeral services in Cuyahoga Falls, the family has entrusted the local arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, Allen Chapel, 215 East Main Street, Bridgeport, WV. Friends and family may visit at the All Saints Catholic Church, 317 East Main Street, Bridgeport, WV 26330, on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 10AM until 11AM. Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held in the church at 11AM with Father Walter Jagela as Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Bridgeport Cemetery in Bridgeport, WV.
