Obituary of Beryl Lea Brown

Mrs. Beryl Lea Brown, 79 years of age of Farmington, WV passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at her residence. She was born February 4, 1942 in Fairmont, WV the daughter of the late Percy and Cora Cottrell Moyers. She is survived by her husband Richard Brown. They had celebrated forty-one years of marriage. She is also survived by two daughters Connie Miller of Amanda, OH and Leanna Graham and her husband Larry of Charleston, WV; one son Brian Dean of Lancaster, OH; one brother Charles “Chuck” Moyers and his wife Dionne of Charleston, WV; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Cathy Ziklo, two brothers William “Billy” and David Moyers and one deceased grandson. Lea worked previously at Owens Illinois in Fairmont and was a licensed nail tech in the community. Her greatest passion was sharing her mother qualities during her life. She loved caring for her children, grandchildren and was a foster parent for several kids. Lea was a longtime member of Mannington Church of Christ. Friends will be received at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV on Monday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The funeral will be celebrated in the funeral home on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Evangelist Michael Reese presiding. The interment will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery.
