Obituary of Barbara "Bobbi" Lee Arnett Dodd

Barbara “Bobbi” Lee Arnett Dodd, 75, of Fairmont, West Virginia died Sunday, November 7, 2021 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. She was born July 13, 1946 in Laurel Run Community of Enterprise, WV a daughter of the late Voyd Bond Arnett and Barbara Louise McCoy Arnett. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Wayne Dodd. They were married 50 years. Mrs. Dodd is survived by two sons and a daughter in law Christopher & Jane Dodd of Beckley, WV and Jason “Duke” Dodd of Fairmont, WV, a brother and sister-in-law Forrest “Butch” & Karen Arnett of Enterprise, WV, a sister and brother-in-law Kitty & Charlie Post of Fairmont, WV, two grandchildren Anthony Dodd & Andrew Dodd, a sister-in-law Faye Dodd of Fairmont, WV, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bobbi was a retired secretary in the Technology and Administration Departments at Fairmont State College with 40 years of service. She had previously worked at North American Philips, the Fairmont Teamsters, and as a car hop for the Farmerette Restaurant. She was a graduate of Shinnston High School, a 1964 West Virginia Golden Horseshoe Winner, and a graduate of Fairmont State College. Bobbi enjoyed farming, gardening, and animals in her early years growing up in the Enterprise area. She enjoyed her monthly supper club with other couples, attending FSC Basketball games, and vacationing at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
