Obituary of Sean William Hogan

Mr. Sean William Hogan, 29 years of age passed away on September 11, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 26, 1987 in Fairmont, WV the son of Gail M. Hogan of Bridgeport, WV and Bill Hogan of Jane Lew, WV. Sean is also survived by his maternal grandparents Kenny and Patty Ashcraft of Corbin Branch Road, Harrison County; paternal grandmother Jacqueline Hogan of Port Washington, WI; three aunts Lisa Carr and her husband Rick and their son L.G. of Corbin Branch Road, Harrison County, Colleen Norton of Port Washington, WI and Maureen Hogan of Spokane, WA; three uncles Kirk Ashcraft of Bridgeport, WV, Tim Hogan of Bridgeport, WV and Keith Hogan of Madison, WI and many good friends including Adam Hartley, Casey Spagnuolo, A.J. Washington and Alex Lilly. He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather William J. Hogan, Sr. He was a graduate of Bridgeport High School and Fairmont State University. He was employed as a shift leader at Buffalo Wild Wings in Bridgeport. He enjoyed being with his friends playing basketball, watching movies, listening to music or spending quiet time writing. The family requests donations be made in Sean’s memory to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, 4401 Pennsylvania Avenue, Central Plant, Third Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15224. In the check memo list donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Unit. Friends will be received at the Ford Funeral Home, 215 East Main Street, Bridgeport, WV on Wednesday from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated in Bridgeport United Methodist Church, 251 Worthington Drive, Bridgeport, WV on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Dr. Ken A.
