Obituary of Sandra Kay Bright Summers

Sandra Kay Summers, 64, of Rivesville passed peacefully at home on February 7, 2022. She was born on February 26, 1957, a daughter of the late David and Gertrude Bright. Sandy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jess “Ray” Summers Sr.; a son, Jess “Ray” Summers Jr.; a daughter, April Summers; three grandchildren, Jeremy Summers, Noah Summers, and Leah Summers; three sisters, Elizabeth Towns, Debra Yelich of Rivesville, and Nancy Scott of Fairmont; four brothers and spouses, Gary and Vicki Bright of Rivesville, Terry and Cathy Bright of Rivesville, Barry Bright of Rivesville, and William “Bud” Bright and Sharon of Hagans Community; several nieces and nephews; and close friends, Sheila and Smoky Wix. In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by a brother, David Bright and a sister, Ramona Reese. The family has entrusted arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 2nd and Jasper St., Rivesville, WV 26588.
