Obituary of Richard Eugene "Dude" Wells, III

Richard Eugene “Dude” Wells III, 29, of Baxter, West Virginia died Wednesday, March 16, 2022. He was born May 12, 1992 in Morgantown, WV the son of Richard Eugene Wells Jr. and Paula Jo Perkins Wells of Baxter, WV. He is survived by his wife Samantha Dawn McCaulley Wells of Baxter, WV. He is survived by his 3 sons Richard Eugene Wells IV, Ryder Elijah Wells, and Noah Summers, 2 daughters Kaylee Jo Wells and Leah Summers, his grandparents Judy Wells of Grant Town, WV and Donnie Wilson of Baxter, WV and he is survived by many cousins, aunts & uncles. He was preceded in death by his daughter Bailey Leann Wells, grandparents Thomas & Peggy Perkins and Richard Eugene Wells Sr. & Phyllis Moats, and several cousins, aunts & uncles. Dude was formerly employed by J & J Electrical Services. He was a 2010 graduate of Fairmont Senior High School. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing at Smoke Hole, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville, WV 26588 on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. Robert Riggs officiating.
