Obituary of Patricia L. Digman Anderson

Patricia L. Digman Anderson, 75, of Bridgeport, West Virginia passed away peacefully at her son’s home on Saturday, April 30, 2022 surrounded by her family after a long fought battle with dementia. She was born December 8, 1946 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late Elmer Leigh Digman and Martha Ellen Hall Digman. She was preceded in death by her loving husband George J. Anderson Jr. She is survived by a son and daughter in law Kevin & Julie Anderson of Monongah, WV, a daughter & son in law Michele “Miki” & Shawn Fluharty of Bunker Hill, WV, a brother-in-law Jack Corley of Fairmont, WV, a niece Tina Hoover of Bridgeport, WV, 6 grandchildren Tiffany, Taisha, Austin, Brittany, Breanna, & Aaron and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Sandra Corley. Mrs. Anderson was employed for over 30 years as an office manager/ comp controller for various automobile dealerships in North Central West Virginia. Pat was a Methodist by faith and a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School. She enjoyed time being with family, friends, and her dogs. The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, R.C. Jones Chapel, 1410 Country Club Road, Fairmont, WV 26554 on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend James Saunders officiating.
