I had the honor of being a colleague of Marvin's for over 10 years at Fairmont State. What an impactful life Marvin led. I often run into former students who ask about him. I believe Marvin truly desired to make a difference in the lives of people, especially his students; he hoped that somehow, they would be changed or different because they were in his class; he was firm in his conviction that a teacher lives on through his students. Please remember as Marvin believed – good teaching can forever change the lives of students and their families.
2 Timothy 4: … the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
