Obituary of David Lee Fernandez

Mr. David Lee Fernandez, 87 years of age of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born September 28, 1934 the son of the late Freeman and Anna Nery Fernandez. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Virginia Allen Fernanadez on March 13, 2022. They had celebrated forty-nine years of marriage. He is survived by three sons Randall Lee Fernandez and his wife Dina of West Milford, WV, Paul Nicholas Fernandez of Clarksburg, WV and James Freeman Fernandez of West Milford, WV; two step-daughters Kimberly Keller and husband Todd of Clarksburg, WV and Shelley Howard and husband Herb of Lehigh Acres, FL; one brother Jerry Alan Fernandez and his wife Sandra of Nutter Fort, WV and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. David was a 1953 graduate of Victory High School. Following graduation, he served honorably in the United States Army. He retired with twenty-seven years of service from Walgreens in maintenance. David was blessed with understanding construction and used his hands to build their home in Jarvisville. A private service with family will be celebrated at a later date.
