Obituary of Karen Satterfield Miller

Karen Satterfield Miller, 78, of Core passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born in Fairmont on April 24, 1944, daughter of the late Harold Robert Satterfield and Edrabelle Mae Solt Satterfield. Karen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leland Dwight Miller. Karen is survived by her son, Leland Robert Miller; four grandchildren, Brittney Amber Miller Cummings, Brandi Lenae Miller, Alexis Corinne Miller Corwin, and Dereck Lee Todd Miller; her great-grandchildren; and her sister, Susan “Susie” Watkins and her husband Bill. In addition to her husband and parents, Karen was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Joy Miller and a grandson, Dakota Todd Lee Miller. Karen worked as a beautician and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family. In accordance with Karen’s wishes, her body will be cremated and there will be no public services.
