Obituary of Betty Lou Morris
Betty Lou Morris, 94, of Rivesville, WV, went to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at her home. She was born on May 30, 1928 in Fairview, WV.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Alvah Ralph Morris. Her parents, Homer Arthur and Anna Madge Eddy, and Stepmother, Georgie Mae Eddy. One sister, Mary J. Bryant. One brother, Homer J. Eddy. One great-granddaughter, Melody L. Morris.
Betty leaves her sister, Lelia “Sis” (Tom) Floyd of Farmington, and brother, Robert W. Eddy of Rivesville.
She is survived by her children. Edward Lee (Eddie) Morris (Jeanie) of Mannington. Arthur Hugh (Hughie) Morris (Judi) of Rivesville. Ralph Junior (Dink) Morris (Lisa) of Rivesville. Albert Carroll (Bubby) Morris of Rivesville. Lou Ann (Layla) Zrebeet of Rivesville.
Grandchildren: Eddie and Robert Morris. Steven, John and Jim Morris. Jeremy, Jeff and Joseph Morris. Majda Saverice. Muhammad Zrebeet. Amenah Zrebeet. Ameenah Zrebeet. Betty Rose and her Fiancé Daniel Yost, and Renee Morris.
Great grandchildren: Hunter Morris. Kassie Morris. Austin Boyle. Maura and Andrew Morris. Logan and Dustin Morris. Beau Morris. Aiden Morris. McKenna Morris. Muhammad and Ali Azzuiragani. Mariam and Jenna Elallaghi. Antonio and Noah Saverice.
Several nieces and nephews.
She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. A woman of kindness known for her compassion, selflessness, and cooking skills. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, quilting, milkshakes and Zero candy bars. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Betty attended McCurdysville School. She was a member of Marvin Chapel. She was employed by Westinghouse and as a caretaker of many.

The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville, WV 26588 on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 4 pm to 8 pm and on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from Noon to 2 pm. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home Sunday at 2 pm. Burial will follow the service at Barb Cemetery in Rivesville. Pastor Bill Toothman officiating.
