Obituary of James Edward Haught

Mr. James Edward “Eddie” Haught, 45 years of age of Rivesville, WV passed away on December 1, 2022 at his residence. He was born December 20, 1976 in Fairmont, WV. He is survived by his father, David Earl Haught; mother, Agnes DeRosa Haught; two brothers David E. Haught Jr. and his wife Rachel and their children Dakota and Zeb and Stevie Haught and his girlfriend Kelly Heldreth and his son Stevie Haught and his wife Seneca and their daughter Annalynn. He is also survived by his partner Conrad Hamather; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and an abundance of friends. Eddie was a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School and enjoyed everything about the outdoors. He worked in management with Wilderness Voyagers, Ohiopyle, PA. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing Patterson Creek and Youghiogheny River and spending time at the family cabin in Grant County. He was a talented photographer of nature and held the title of president of the Briar Hill Club. He had the artistic ability to take items from nature and make them into crafts such as birdhouses. His many friends and family will greatly miss him. The family would like their friends to join them for an open house to celebrate Eddie’s life at the Rivesville Community Building on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests people to contact Crystal Oliver (304-627-7989) to assist with the refreshments of the open house.
