Obituary of Jamie Darrin Kuhn

Jamie Darrin Kuhn, 56, of Fairmont passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, March 17, 2023. He was born in Fairmont on May 16, 1966 a son of Carol Evans Kuhn and the late Perry Kuhn. He is survived by the love of his life of 37 years, Shelby Knisley Kuhn; three daughters, Brooke Heston and her husband Matthew, Megan Paknik and her husband Daniel, and Reyce Kuhn and her fiancé Chance; four grandchildren, Morgan Heston, Maren Heston, Maggie Paknik, and Zane Paknik; two brothers, Randy Kuhn and his wife Tina, and Danny Kuhn and his wife LeeAnn; his mother and father-in-law Edna and Terry White, his sister-in-law, Kimmi Cole and her husband Kenny, his brother-in-law Randy Smith, his three dogs, Bella, Ozzy, and Lola, along with several nieces and nephews. Jamie was a 1984 graduate of Hundred High School and worked for several years at the paper mill in Fairmont as well as at Fairmont Kitchen as a cabinet maker. Jamie loved carpentry and woodworking. He also enjoyed building things, four-wheeling, fishing, boating, kayaking, gardening, and the outdoors in general. Most of all, Jamie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, his grandbabies were everything to him. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Jamie's memory to the Glioblastoma Foundation, PO Box 62066, Durham, NC 27715. The Kuhn family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St. Fairmont, WV 26554. Friends may be received on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 1PM – 7PM.
