Obituary of David Russell Stout Sr.

David Russell Stout Sr. passed away on Wednesday April 5 on the family farm. He was born May 31,1941 in Shinnston, West Virginia to William Herman Stout and Edna May Morrison Stout. David loved growing up on the farm riding horses and playing sports. He went into the Marine Corps right out of high school. After that he went to work as a lineman for Monongahela Power Company in Webster Springs and Novec in Stafford, Virginia. Then, he finished his career as a foreman for Rockingham Construction. David lived his life for his children and grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his brothers, Luther Stout and James Stout and his sister, Alice Pettit. David is survived by sisters, Helen Stout and Margaret Lavergne; son, David Stout Jr.; daughter-in-law, Tina Stout; and their four children Kaegan Kirk, Kendal Kirk, Kylea Johnson, and Jaxon Stout; as well as his daughter, Amy Lloyd; son-in-law, Russell Lloyd; and their children Amber, Daymon, and Dakota Lloyd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in David’s memory to Allen Funeral Home, 215 East Main St., Bridgeport, WV 26330. The family has entrusted arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, Allen Chapel, 215 East Main St., Bridgeport, WV 26330.
