Obituary of Thomas Douglas Andrews

Thomas Douglas Andrews, 66, of Rock Lake Community, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at his residence. He was born February 16, 1957 in Portsmouth, VA a son of the late James Earl Andrews Sr. & Geraldine Blanche Bigler Andrews. He is survived by a brother and sister- in- law James Earl & Ashleigh Andrews Jr., a nephew Craig Andrews and a best friend Greg DeWitt. He was preceded in death by a sister Debra Cay Andrews and a nephew James Earl Andrews III. He was a retired Supervisor of Housekeeping for the Genesis Healthcare Tygart Center in Fairmont, WV. Thomas was a 1976 graduate of East Fairmont High School. He enjoyed music, playing guitar, artistry, reading and being with family & friends. The family has entrusted arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. A memorial service will be held for family and friends at a later time.
