Obituary of Shirley Jean Miller

Shirley Jean Miller, 82, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, at the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on October 25, 1940, in Bridgeport, WV, a daughter of the late James and Mildred Hustead Booher. She is preceded in death by her husband Myron Sidney Miller. Mrs. Miller was a retired communications clerk in the customers service department for The Consolidated National Gas Company with 30 years of service. She is survived by her sister, Naomi Felts and her husband Bob of Elkton, MD, three grandchildren, Vincent Anthony Lucente and his wife Erica, Samantha Lucente, Nicholas James Lucente, and six great grandchildren, Sofia, Isabella, Isla, Maia, Layla, and Lennon Lucente. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Jeana “Jeanie” Marie Lucente, three sisters, Margaret Reese, Janet Herbrich, and Joyce Schwartz, and two brothers, Ronald Booher, and James Edward. She is also preceded in death by her former husband, Joseph Zurzolo. The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, Allen Chapel, 215 East Main Street, Bridgeport, WV 26330 on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 9am to 11am. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 am with Reverend Stanley Merrifield officiating. The committal service will follow in the WV National Cemetery in Grafton, WV.
