Buddy was a very special man in so many ways. As a "cousin-in-law", he made me feel very comfortable as a member of the very large Hess clan. Buddy was always very caring for Rose Ann and I. when we were in Bridgeport. I will miss his smile and laughter the most. Sincere regrets for your loss. Try and remember all the good times with him. To all of Bud’s family please accept my husband’s and myself heartfelt sincere condolences. Bud will be missed by our family. Dave and I walk our dog Mia and Bud always brought Bear out to socialize with our dog Mia. Bud and us would always laugh and say Mia our dog was Bears girlfriend. We all would laugh and Bud had such a great smile and laugh. Occasionally we would see Bud at Bob Evans also and that was a bonus to see him sometimes a second time. Sending Prayers to all your family…Also sending a great big hug and prayers to Gerry and Bear. You all have a wonderful Angel to look over your family. This is Diane Hess…wife of Scott Hess. Oh my what a great man. He will always remain the life of the party in my book. Many years ago I told him I was from Florida and on our vacation to West Virginia I wanted the Appalachian experience. I continued trying to get Bud to take me to a bluegrass festival year after year in West Virginia. Well…one year he took us to a place called the Odessy …it seems like we drove and drove to get to this establishment. As we arrived I noticed it looked like a real old cabin. Well when we went inside the bar maid called to her patrons and issued instructions to clear Buds table. Oh boy I knew this was going to be good time. From that point on Bud danced every dance with me. When I got tired he danced with someone else. Bud is older than me and I have attended many biker jamborees over the years …but that night is still so fresh in my head. So thankful for that night. Thank you Bud. Never in my entire life have I partied like I did that night. Bud we love you and will continue to celebrate life just like you did every day.

Pappap was an amazing person. He treated me like family as I have known him since 6th/7th grade. I remember when I went to junior year prom with Mickala and he made us his famous breakfast for dinner and we feasted. He was always cracking a smile when we were around each other. He will truly be missed. Love you Pappap!

Hi I'm a server at Bob evans. Saturday morning I had his napkin ready with a good morning note. His cup of coffee already poured when we open the doors. He will be missed. Always had a very cheerful good morning for me on Saturdays to start my day

I want to share my deepest sympathy with Bud’s family. I worked at Harrison with Bud and what a beautiful smile he had and a wonderful personality. We will surely miss him. Again so sorry for your loss.
