Obituary of Twila Connie Martin Edwards

Twila Connie Martin Edwards, 66, of Fairmont, WV, (Prickett’s Fort Community) passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born in Richfield, Ohio on March 20, 1957, a daughter to the late Jennings and Frances Martin. Twila is survived by her daughter Mhisty (Christopher) Shenk of Willoughby, Ohio, her son Jason Harris of Fairmont, her brother Jeremiah Martin of Morgantown, her grandchildren; Chelsea Lyons, William Genovese, Ryder Harris, and Gabe Harris, her great-grandson Lucas Ebbert, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Twila is preceded in death by her brothers; Gary Martin, Jennings Martin Jr., Robin Martin, and Hastings Martin, and her niece Senova Martin. Twila was a Christian by faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandson were her whole world. She loved to go shopping and go out to breakfast at Bob Evans Restaurants with her family. The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. A Memorial Service will be held at the Apostolic Christian Temple, 464 Viola Road, Fairmont, WV 26554 Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Bishop Chris Gillespie, Sr. Pastor.
