Obituary of Sharan Lee Jewell Hedrick

Sharan Lee Jewell Hedrick, 68, of Fairmont passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the Wishing Well Assisted Living Community. She was born in Baltimore, MD on November 2, 1955, a daughter of Ada Lee Trieschman Jewell Bylsma and the late Carl Warren Jewell. In addition to her mother, Sharan is survived by her sister, Karen L. Jewell and her husband Agustin M. Perez of Hedgesville; brother, Craig C. Jewell and his wife Kimberly of Fairmont; and niece, Haylee J. Jewell of Fairmont. In addition to her father, Sharan was preceded in death by a brother, Robert W. Jewell. Sharan graduated from Anne Arundel High Schol in Gambrills, MD and worked as a supervisor for the Department of Justice. She enjoyed crafting, hand crafts, cross-stitching, cats, and tigers. Sharan enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Sharan’s memory to the Marion County Humane Society, PO Box 905, Fairmont, WV 26555. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. A private committal service will be held at a later date for the family.
