Obituary of Sally Hayes Nestor

Sally Hayes Nestor, 72, of Mill Ridge Rd., Granite Falls, NC, passed away early Tuesday morning in Frye Memorial Hospital in Hickory, NC. She was born June 7, 1944 in Canton, OH, daughter of the late Robert Fluharty and Helen Hayes. Mrs. Nestor had a strong faith with Christian Missionary Alliance Church. She was earlier employed by Dr. Tom Turner of Fairmont, WV, with over 25 years of service. Survivors include her husband, Rev. George Nestor of Granite Falls, NC (Married 52 years), 2 sons, George “Hovie” Nestor of Granite Falls, NC and Heath and his wife Sonja Nestor of Fort Mill, SC, 4 grandchildren; Charley and her husband J.D. Sexton of Fairmont, WV, Zachree and Kaci Nestor of Kernersville, NC, and Kykie and Kaykie Nestor both of Fort Mill, SC, 2 great grandchildren, McKenna Sexton of Fairmont, WV and McKinley Nestor of Kernersville, NC, 2 brothers, Butch Higgins of Mannington, WV and Roger Higgins of Mannington, WV, and 2 sisters, Cherylle Smith of Mannington, WV and Sheri Martin of Nestorville, WV. Mrs. Nestor has chosen cremation services. Family and friends may call at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV from 4pm until 7pm on Saturday, 12-17-2016.
