Obituary of Loretta June Kovack

Loretta June Kovack, 71, of Rivesville, West Virginia died Sunday, December 18, 2016 in the John Manchin Health Care Center in Fairmont, WV. She was born May 21, 1945 in Sutton, WV a daughter of the Late Granville Smith & Eleanor Gill Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth R. Kovack. She is survived by 3 brothers Frank & Vera Smith of Rivesville, WV, Otis Smith & his fiancé Kate Fluharty of Monumental Community and Charles & Diana Smith of Farmington, WV, a sister Pearl & Jim Yost of Hagans Community, a sister in law Rilla Smith of Morgantown, WV and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tina Kathleen Kovack, her son Kenneth Joe Kovack, a brother David Lee Smith, two sisters Ethel Robinson & Rebecca Ann Musgrave, a sister in law Rebecca Ann “Becky” Smith and two brother in laws Wayne Musgrave & Carl Robinson. Mrs. Kovack was a former employee for the Westinghouse Corporation of Fairmont, WV. She had attended the Trinity Assembly of God Church of Fairmont and was a graduate of Morgantown High School. She enjoyed drawing and painting. She loved family activities, camping and her pet dog. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, aids & staff of the John Manchin Health Care Center for their love, care and support. The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville, WV 26588 Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Zinn & Pastor Bill Rager officiating.
