I just discovered this obituary of my colleague Royal Watts. To his family I wish to say that he was a very fine person and one of the most knowledgeable geologists I had the pleasure of working with at US DOE/NETL for many years. My wife and I also knew his lovely wife and appreciated her assistance to our son Tim who graduated from Fairmont State College. Royal shall remain in my memory and heart for the rest of my life.
