Obituary of Beverly Ann Scott

Beverly Ann Scott, 69, formerly of Northview Addition, Rivesville, passed away at Ruby Memorial Hospital on June 22, 2024. She was born in Fairmont on November 22, 1954. A daughter to the late Glenn Edward and Harriett Joann (Hardesty) Scott. She is survived by her sisters, Cathy J. Coster and her husband Charles of Fairmont, and Denise S. Ralston and her husband Roy Jr. of Mooresville, NC, her niece, Caroline Coster, her nephews, Charles C. Coster Jr., Chase A. Ralston, and Logan A. Ralston, along with several great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her infant brother, Michael Scott. Beverly provided caregiving for several relatives over the years. She was a graduate of Rivesville High School and was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, and dearly loved her cats. The family has requested memorial donations be made in Beverly’s name to the Marion County Senior Citizens Center, Meals on Wheels Program, 105 Maplewood Dr, Fairmont, WV 26554. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville, WV 26588. In accordance with Beverly’s wishes, cremation services will occur. Friends will be received in the funeral home on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 11a.m. until 1p.m. A memorial service will take place in the funeral home on Friday at 1p.m. with Pastor Rich Buonaiuto officiating.
