Obituary of Ranie Kay Kovach

Ranie Kay Kovach, 69, of Fairmont, passed away in Monday, July 15, 2024 at the United Hospital Center. She was born in Fairmont on July, 13, 1955. The daughter of the late Joe Kovach and Frances Eloise (Kennedy) Kovach. She was survived by her loving husband, Ronald Ray Reeves. She was happily married to Ronnie on August 24, 2023 and was a Catholic by faith. Ranie retired as a Billing Analyst for First Energy Corporation. She was a 1973 graduate of East Fairmont High School and a graduate of Fairmont State College in 1976. She then proceeded to obtain her Master’s Degree in 1977 at West Virginia University. Ranie was an avid baker. She loved her cats, and feeding deer and other wildlife in her backyard. She also enjoyed traveling to different locations across West Virginia with her husband. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. In accordance with Ranie’s wishes, cremation services will occur. A committal service will take place on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, 93 Sherwood Drive, Fairmont, WV 26554, at 11a.m. with Pastor Bill Toothman officiating.
