Obituary of Tracy Lynn (Nuzum) Knight

Tracy Lynn (Nuzum) Knight, 58, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born in Fairmont on February 17, 1966. A daughter to the late Donald Rex and Carolyn Jean Coogle Nuzum. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Richard Edward Knight. Tracy was a proud 1984 graduate of East Fairmont High School and a faithful member of the Eldora United Methodist Church. She worked as a nursing assistant in the medical field throughout her career. Tracy loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, especially at Audra State Park with her family. She was a volunteer in the community, as she was active with in the Marion County Rescue Squad for 20 years, the Valley Fire Department, local 4-H, and Marion County Relay for Life for several years. Tracy was a fan of country, bluegrass, and acoustic music, where she enjoyed attending several live local concerts. In addition to her husband, Tracy is survived by her daughter, Hannah Marie Webb and her husband Thomas of Fairmont, her sisters, Donna Jean Jordan and her husband Randy of Blairsville, GA., and Joy A. Lake and her companion Tim Ryalls of Fairmont, her grandchildren, Titan Webb, Noaym Webb, Phoenix Webb, and Zoey, along with her close friends, Jane Mafield and her husband Keith of Morgantown, and Laura Chapman and her husband John of Elkins. The family has entrusted arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. Friends will be received in the funeral home on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 12 noon until 5p.m. The Funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 5p.m. with Reverend Dr. Michael Richards officiating. A candlelight dinner will be held in the Eldora United Methodist Church following the funeral service. A private graveside service will be held for the family at a later date.
