Obituary of June Louise Crescenzi Dublin

June Louise (Crescenzi) Dublin, 81, of Fairmont, WV passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. June was born on June 1, 1934 in Rivesville, WV, daughter of Peter Paul and Katie Dale (Floyd) Crescenzi. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, John James Dublin, who she married on January 15, 1954. June was the loving and proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother of three children, Michael Dublin (Lisa) of Fairmont, WV, Monica Dublin Ferguson (Mike) of Sterling, VA, and Matthew Dublin of Fairmont, WV; ten grandchildren, Justin and his girlfriend Charity Clelland, Ryan, Corey and his fiancé Tatianna Coppolo, Jordan and Spencer Dublin of Fairmont, WV, Molly and Luke Dublin of Jane Lew, WV, and Evan, Emily, and Ethan Ferguson of Sterling, VA; and four great grandchildren, Annie, Abri, Carter and Conner of Fairmont, WV. June is also survived by one sister, Josephine Berry of Fairmont, WV. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her brothers, Angelo and Nathan Crescenzi and her sisters, Nellie Cunningham, Pearl Beatty, Mary Painter, Dolly Cross, and Peggy Wilson. A 1953 graduate of Rivesville High School, June was a majorette in high school. She was a Methodist by faith and dedicated her life to her family and volunteering to enrich children’s’ lives. She was the Director of Children’s Sunday School and the Director of Vacation Bible School at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church (Currently Life UMC). She was also the Den Mother for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and a teacher’s aide in Marion County Public Schools. In 1992, she retired from Dr. Robert Sidow’s office and joined her husband “Dub” as a “retiree”. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Due to inclement weather, the family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Thursday, February 11, 2016, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. and on Friday, February 12, 2016, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, February 12, 2016, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Larry Buckland officiating.
