Obituary of Virginia Ann Heldreth Hughes

Virginia Ann Heldreth Hughes, 54, of Main St., Rivesville, WV, passed away early Thursday evening in her residence. She was born September 16, 1962 in Fort Knox, KY, daughter of the late Burl Ross, Sr. and Margaret Lucille Compton Heldreth. Mrs. Hughes was a Christian by faith. She served as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Alliance OH and later with Family Services, the Arbors, and Personal Home Care, all of Fairmont, WV. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, fishing, gardening, loved animals, and truly enjoyed all family activities. Survivors include her husband, Carl E. Hughes of Rivesville, WV, 2 daughters; Jennifer and her husband Franklin Stewart of Fairmont, WV and Amanda Renee Hughes of White Hall Community, 4 sons; Carl W. Hughes of Rivesville, WV, Bradley J. Hughes of Fairmont, WV, Russell A. King Clarksburg, WV, and Michael Anthony Hughes of Fairmont, WV, 2 brothers; Roger and his wife Sue Heldreth of Shinnston, WV and David Heldreth of Fairmont, WV, 13 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Callette Marie Heldreth and 2 brothers; Frank Heldreth and Burl Heldreth, Jr. Family and friends may call at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, Jasper St., Rivesville, WV from 11am until 1pm on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Tuesday, 2-7-2017, at 1pm, with Pastor James Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery and Mausoleum in Fairmont, WV.
