We have lost another irreplaceable part of our close family. A humble, good-natured, decent part of it. Terry was privately, quietly, the loyal friend, the loving brother and uncle, the good son. A good man.
Throughout my life, I have yet to find one understandable reason why the ones we care about are taken from us the way they are. It seems to me that we can only hold dear what they have left us and be thankful for such blessings. Once more, our family is diminished.

My wife Teresa and I have very fond memories of many good times with Terry during our time living in Akron when he worked at Bauer's corporate office. Going to the Kentucky Derby and attempting to teach me to snow ski are two that come to mind. Terry recuperated at our home after his emergency appendectomy while in Akron for a business meeting. Teresa, being an RN, saw to it that he had the best of care. He was truly one of the nicest and most considerate friends I have known in my life. Terry left us too soon. Teresa and I will keep him in our prayers.

My deep condolences to Terry's wife and family. I remember so well his smiling face, and wonderful personality that attracted so many friends. Always willing to lend a hand when needs arose, especially to a Phi Psi Brother. I was fortunate and I am grateful for the times we shared at WVU. If you measure a man's wealth by the way he carries himself and the number of loving friends he has, Terry was one of the richest men I have known. Rest in Peace, my Brother. You will be missed.
