Obituary of Dorothy Jean Seders

     Mrs. Dorothy Jean Seders, 91 years of age of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, WV.  She was born April 17, 1926 in Clarksburg, WV the daughter of the late Oscar G. Fowler and Icie Marie Watson Blake.  She was preceded in death by her husband Willis Monroe Seders in 1997.  They were married July 20, 1945 and had celebrated fifty  years of marriage. 
     She is survived by  three daughters Susan A. Bowers and her husband Dave of Clarksburg, WV, Sally J. Seders of Bluemont, VA  and Amy L. Roman and her companion Tim of Winchester, VA;  ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and a daughter-in-law Yvonne Seders of Laurel Park, WV.  She was also preceded in death by a son James Richard “Rick” Seders; a daughter Joan M. Insani Hecker; a half sister Helen Devoe and an infant brother and sister. 
     Mrs. Seders was a graduate of Washington Irving High School.  She was a member of the Central Christian Church in Clarksburg and the GFWC Women’s Club of Bridgeport. 
     Friends will be received at the Ford Funeral Home, 215 East Main Street, Bridgeport, WV on Monday from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.  The funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Monday,
July 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jeff Hanlin presiding.  The interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Quiet Dell, WV.
