Mr. Jerry, we were so saddened to hear of Mrs. Edwina's passing. She was pre-school teacher to all four kids and they loved her so much. She was instrumental in teaching them kindness and love and they are better for having known her. While she may not be here in body, her spirit lives on and we will never forget her. We love you both and are praying for you and your family. Godspeed Mrs. Edwina.

Mr Jerry and the Summers family: We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your wonderful wife Edwina. What a beautiful person who 's passion was to instill the love and knowledge of Jesus our savior into hearts of our community's children. Thank you both for your hard work and dedication in preparing a Christian foundation for my daughter Olivia at WhiteHall preschool and all the years of VBS. We admired you both, and Edwina....what a testimony and legacy of a wonderful Christian woman! There is now doubt she is receiving many rewards now for all her hard work and dedication and that is something to celebrate. Ms Edwina was a special lady that touched so many children in the Nursery School. My two boys loved her and learned so much from her from the alphabet to loving Jesus with all your heart. She taught my kids sign language and how to behave to get your three stamps. Not only children loved her, she was a great friend to anyone she met. She was a great listener and always had a smile for all. She was a light on this earth and now a beautiful angel in heaven. Condolences to the family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. May you feel God's loving arms of comfort around you. Edwina made me feel so loved and welcome from the moment I started worshipping at Whitehall. I loved the few times I was able to help during the first week of nursery school. Her love for the deaf members of the congregation was passed on to me and I am thankful for her patience as she taught me.
