Obituary of Margaret "Margie" Williams

Margaret (Margie) Williams, 78, of Fairmont, West Virginia passed away peacefully at home on February 20, 2016. She was born November 9, 1937 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of the late Vangel Zegloff & Mary Ripp Zegloff. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Lewis Eugene (Gene) Williams of Fairmont. They were married November 26, 1956. She is survived by her 4 children and their spouses Kimberly & Bo Wilson of Fishersville, VA, Robin Williams of Rotan, TX, Frank & Dianna Williams of Charleston, WV and Mark & Pam Williams of Anderson, SC, 6 grandchildren Nicole Wilson, Dawn Keister, Mark Snowden, Trey Williams, Erica Williams & Ben Williams and 5 great grandchildren Kayla, Alison, Luke & Seth Keister and Oliver Wilson-Cook. Mrs. Williams has been a member of Fellowship Baptist Church for 38 years where she served faithfully in the bus ministry and the junior church ministry. She was a retired teacher from the Calvary Christian School with 30 years of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Christian School, 28 Fellowship Drive, Fairmont, WV 26554. The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554 Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. The casket will lie in state in the Fellowship Baptist Church, 28 Fellowship Drive, Fairmont, WV 26554 on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from Noon – 1 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the church Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Glenn Stevenson officiating. The committal service will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery & Mausoleum.
