Obituary of Robert Lewis Beatty, Jr.

Robert Lewis Beatty, Jr.,  77, of Parker Run, Rivesville, WV passed away Wednesday afternoon in his residence.   He was born September 14, 1939 in Marion County, WV, son of the late Robert L., Sr. and Pearl Ellen Crescenzi Beatty.   Mr. Beatty was a Methodist by faith.   He served in the U.S. Marine Corp, with 3 years of service.   He was the owner and operator of B & B Builders and Contractors in Marion County, WV, with 45 years of service.   Robert enjoyed family activities, time with his grandchildren, boating, camping, viewing antique car shows, reading books, and watching westerns.   Survivors include 4 sons, Robert L. Beatty III of Rivesville, WV, Steven Ray Beatty of Rivesville, WV, William Jeffrey Beatty and his wife Tara of Rivesville, WV, and Brian Scott Beatty of Rivesville, WV,   6 grandchildren, Robert Cody Beatty of Louisiana, Zachary Beatty of Rivesville, WV, Cade Beatty of Rivesville, WV, Colt Beatty of Rivesville, WV, Cale Beatty of Rivesville, WV, and Amber Rose of Morgantown, WV,   2 sisters, Janice Hardesty of Rivesville, WV and Sharon Beatty Maier of Fairmont, WV (she gave many hours of care and concern),   the children’s mother, Barbara Beatty of Rivesville, WV,   2 uncles, Arthur Cross of Fairmont, WV and John “Dub” Dublin of Fairmont, WV, and many close nieces, nephews, and cousins.   He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Earl Beatty and a sister, Rita Beatty.   Family and friends may call at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, Jasper St., Rivesville, WV from 11am until 2pm on Sunday, September 17, 2017.   Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2pm, with Rev.
