My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Judge Fox when I worked in the Prosecutor's office. He was a very special person. So kind and friendly, and a very honorable judge. He was always willing to help out with any problem and was never worried about setting a precedence. He was very open to my suggestion (pleading) to set one concerning the rescue of a child at birth from its abusive parents. We had already taken the 3 older (still toddlers) siblings, when I learned the mother was pregnant. I could not stand the thought of another child being abused, so Monty Brown told me to right it up and present it to Judge Fox. He, as usual, made me make my supporting reasons for the petition, told me there was no precedence, but made it one. He made me feel important when he listened to me like that. He was one of the most influential people in my life.
I'm truly sorry to see him go, but know he is in the best place ever. He will be missed.
