Obituary of Jill Ann Bartlett

Jill Ann Freeland Bartlett, 65, of Ice St., Barrackville, WV, passed away Sunday afternoon in Ruby Memorial Hospital.   She was born May 21, 1952 in Fairmont, WV, daughter of the late Jack C. and Vera Jean Clelland Freeland.   She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Hoot Gibson in 1996.   Jill was a homemaker in the Marion County area, and a graduate of Barrackville High School in 1970.   She enjoyed traveling to Capon River for family camping trips.   She enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed riding and caring for horses during her lifetime.   She loved all family activates and truly enjoyed her grandchildren.   Jill was an active WVU Mountaineers and Pittsburgh Steelers football fan.   Her grandchildren would call her “Grandma West Virginia”.    She also enjoyed old cars and attending car shows and restoring some cars.   Jill was often known, around the community, because of her “Bubbly” smile and personality.   Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Casey and Jack Gibson Wolfe of Fairmont, WV,   2 grandchildren, Sylas and Slade Wolfe of Fairmont, WV,  a cousin, David Wilson of Barrackville, WV, and a furry grandson, Peanut.   She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Raye Anderson and her 2nd husband, Paul Joe Bartlett.   Jill has chosen cremation services.   Her family will greet friends at Ford Funeral, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV from 3pm until 4pm on Sunday Afternoon, 12-17-2017.   A memorial service will be held in the funeral home Sunday afternoon at 4pm, with Dr. Rev.
