Obituary of Randall Neal Cox

Randall Neal Cox, 62, of Clayton St., Rivesville WV, passed away early Saturday afternoon in Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins, WV.   He was born January 5, 1956 in Fairmont, WV, son of the late Jack and Mae Prunty Cox.   Mr. Cox was a Protestant by faith.   He was a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School.   Mr. Cox served in the U.S. Marines, stationed in Paris Island, SC.   He retired from the Fairmont Taxi Service as a cab driver with 25 years of service.   He was a former member of the Fairmont Eagles and earlier enjoyed bowling.   Survivors include his wife, Sharon Louise Sapp Cox of Rivesville, WV,   a daughter, Heather R. Swiger and her companion Victor Reynolds of Reedsville, WV,   3 grandchildren, Gaige Leach of Morgantown, WV, Aaron Matthew (A.J.) Swiger of Point Marion, PA, and Emma Swiger of Point Marion, PA,   a daughter-in-law, Misty Swiger of Point Marion, PA,   a sister, Cathy Simons of Fairmont, WV,   2 brothers, David and his wife Susie Cox of Fairmont, WV and Jack Cox of Fairmont, WV,   and several nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by a son Aaron Matthew Swiger.   Family and friends may call at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, Jasper St., Rivesville, WV from 10am until 12noon on Friday.   Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday, 3-30-2018, at 12noon, with Rev. Stanley Merrifield officiating.   Burial will follow in the National Cemetery in Pruntytown, WV.  The family requests that memorial donations be made to Sharon Cox, P.O.
