Obituary of David Franklin Edman

David Franklin Edman, 69, of Fairmont, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. David was born on June 23, 1948, a son of the late Clarence D. Edman and Lila Mae Collier Edman.

David is survived by a sister, Sue Edman; 3 nephews, Bryan and his children Devon Amole and his son Dawson, Chase, Nathan, Aidyn and Gracie; Daniel (Abby) and his children Ryleigh and Levi; and Jack; as well as several cousins.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a brother, John Edman.

David was a very outgoing, well-liked man who never met a stranger. He had faith like a mustard seed.

The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Sunday, April 8, 2018, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Monday, April 9, 2018, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. The funeral will be held in the funeral home on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 1 p.m. A committal service will follow at Nuzum Cemetery in Levels Community.
