Obituary of Mary Ellen "Midge" Barnes Davidson Fultz
Mary Ellen “Midge” Barnes Davidson Fultz, 95, of Fairmont, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Fazio Elder Care Home in Monongah, WV, after a short illness. She was born April 2, 1923 in Fairmont, WV the daughter of the late Bert E. and Eva Linn Summers Barnes. Mom was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, John William Fultz.
She is survived by her children: Rebecca Linn Davidson Landes of Seattle, WA, and Douglas Gordon (Sue) Davidson of Kalamazoo, MI. Aunt Midge is also survived by a special nephew, James R. Barnes whom she raised as a son, a special friend Beverly Ailstock, and three step-children: Linda Fultz (J.D.) Parks, John S. Fultz, Steven W. Fultz and their families. Grandma is survived by her seven grandchildren: Mark H. (Morri) Landes, Scott (Ann) Landes, Erick (Meredith) Davidson, Linn Anne Davidson, Jennifer E. (Andrew) Witt, Susan L. (Joshua) Kas, and Matthew (Hannah) Davidson; as well as her ten great grandchildren: Hamilton, Ethan, Evalinn, Cooper, Amaya, Sylvia, Simone, Jonah, Adelinn, and Morgan; her brother Donald Linn (Diane) Barnes of Beverly Hills, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Midge was also preceded in death by her three brothers and their spouses: James Robert (Mary) Barnes, William Richard (Marge) Barnes, and John Edward (Marijo)Barnes, and her granddaughter, Lori Baker.

Friends and family may call the Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 2PM until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM. Mrs. Fultz will lie in state at the Baptist Temple on Sunday June 3, 2018 from 1PM until 2PM. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 2P.M. at the Baptist Temple, 430 Morgantown Avenue, Fairmont with Rev. Dr. Scott D. Landes and Dr. Allan Copenhaver officiating.
