Obituary of George Morgan Jr.

George Morgan Jr., 57, of Rivesville, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. George was born on August 25, 1958, a son of the late George Morgan and Etheleen Strickland Wolfe. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Penny Hess Morgan. George was a construction worker and enjoyed fishing, traveling, helping others and spending time with his grandchildren. George is survived by his three daughters and their companions, Patricia Markley and Aaron, Dana Morgan and Josh and Shawna Morgan and Chuck; seven grandchildren; two brothers, David Morgan and Allen Estel; three sisters, Elaine McCartle and her husband Jim, Sophie Newbraugh and Sarah Estell; his best friend, Bruce Marlowe and his good friend, Tim Hayes. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Patricia Markley, 37 Baxter St., Baxter, WV 26560, to assist with expenses. In accordance with George’s wishes, there will be no public services and he will be cremated.
