Sue & I met shortly after the Anderson family moved to Sterling Heights in 1937, we were both five years old. We played together almost every day, with our dolls, paper dolls, coloring books, in the summer we begged my Mother to take us to the 12th Street swimming pool, sometimes she did! Since hearing about Sue's death I have be recalling childhood memories, sometimes crying because of the sadness, sometimes crying from laughing at little kids us. I have had a feeling her name was going to make the front page of the Fairmont newspaper before mine but it was quite a shock to see her name there yesterday. Sue & I started drifting apart while we were going to Fairmont Junior High, my mother had died, my world changed totally, but when Tom and I were planning our wedding Sue agreed to be my maid of honor....for old times sake. I still think of her every November 14, and wish her "Happy Birthday". Rest In Peace, Sue. See you again one of these days. Love, Sally Stewart Donaldson
