Obituary of Roger H. Collins

Roger H. Collins, 81, of Fairmont, entered into the presence of Christ on June 3, 2016 at the Genesis Pierpont Center in Fairmont. He was born January 31, 1935 in Clarksburg, WV, a son of the late Elmer and Mayme Double Collins. Roger was a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in education. He served with the US Postal Service for 25 years as a mail carrier in the St. Albans area. Roger was a member of The Baptist Temple of Fairmont as well as a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of St. Albans He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ann Taylor Collins; daughter, Joyce (Holley) Faulkner; son, Donald (Jennifer) Collins; grandson, Robert Collins and granddaughter, Michelle Faulkner. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Tom; daughter, Deborah Warth; and granddaughter, Holly Elizabeth Faulkner.
