Obituary of David Brian Weaver

David Brian Weaver, 49, of Fairmont went to be The Lord on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV. He was born in Fairmont on July 11, 1970, a son of the late Robert Howard Weaver and Peggy Jo Sears Weaver. David is survived by his brothers, Bob Weaver and his wife Cheryl of Grafton and Gary Weaver and his wife Melissa of Tunnelton; sister, Lisa McDonald and her husband Brian of Bridgeport; as well as several nieces and nephews. David was a 1990 graduate of Grafton High School and worked as an electrician for IBEW Local #596, then for 20 years for Chapman Corp. in Washington, PA. He attended On Target Church in Thornton, WV and was a member of Fairmont Lodge #9 A.F. & A.M. Masonic Lodge and to the WV Sportsmen and Firearms Association. The family requests memorial contributions be made in David’s memory to the Jack Strong Foundation, PO Box 395, Bridgeport, WV 26330 or to On Target Church, PO Box 54, Thornton, WV 26440. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554. There will be no public visitation or funeral service. Our dear brother deserves a beautiful tribute. However, we appreciate in the unknown time with the COVID-19 pandemic that attending a service may not be in your best interest. Please be with us in prayer. If you are able to join us in celebrating David’s life, a graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 11 A.M. in the Camp Ground Cemetery in Tunnelton, WV with Reverend Charles McDonald officiating.
