Obituary of Lynne H. Waller
Lynne H. Waller left this earth after battling several ailments at UPMC on June 23, 2020 in Pittsburgh, PA at the age of 68 years old.
Lynne is survived by her sons, Eric Mallamo and Andrew Waller of Fairmont, WV; sister, Patricia Richards and husband James Richards of Fairmont, WV; granddaughter, Meredith Mallamo and sister-in-law, Sandra Hawkins of Morgantown, WV. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lynne is preceded in death by her infant son, Douglas Mallamo; sister, Earlene Hawkins Jenkins; brothers, Richard Hawkins and Charles Hawkins; and sister-in-law, Becky Hawkins. Also preceding her in death were former husbands, Edward Waller and Edward Mallamo of Fairmont, WV and longtime companion, Joe Cratty of Kenwood Beach, MD.
Lynne was born on February 8, 1952 in Fairmont, WV to the late Earl and Betty Hawkins. She graduated from Fairmont Senior High School. Her children remember her as a caring person and dedicated mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals and follow their dreams. She worked hard to provide for her family. Lynne worked as a pharmacy technician at Walmart in Fairmont, WV and in Florida for over 15 years. She also worked as a travel agent and for the Bell Atlantic Telephone Company.
Lynne was an amazing woman who loved the state of Florida where she lived for many years, and was passionate about the beach and her “Island Time”. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and the sunshine.
