Albert was a delightful man. Not one to ever miss the chance to wear his kilt, he participated in many of our Scottish Heritage Society events.
A mainstay at our annual Robert Burns Dinners, he always brought many friends to enjoy the evening's festivities. Additionally, he attended our festivals, and the Kirkin' 'o the Tartans at the First Presbyterian Church in Clarksburg. But my favorite memory was his participation in the Scottish Festival's Kilted Run. He donned his kilt and ran through the neighborhoods of Bridgeport smiling all the way.
Heaven called out "Fàilte" as he arrived at the Pearly Gates!
You'll be missed, Albert.
