Wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. My husband and I meet Lou in our son’s first year of college he was a very kind person he took to my son looked after him I never worried cause I knew Lou always looked after Tyler he was a great man in my eyes. I remember when I would come get Tyler for the summer he would say make sure you bring my boy back right then I knew Tyler was in good hands. Just wanted to share how we all felt about Lou and how devastated we all are and that we all are very sorry for your Loss of a good man

This news saddens me! You were truly such an amazing person! You watched me grow into the woman I am today, literally from my freshman year of college to now. Even after I graduated from Salem we kept in touch. I’m so happy I was able to tell you all about my son, and I’ll never forget how happy you were when I told you Steven and I were having a baby. I love the fact that every time I called you to the Salem Security phone number you would always say “what do you want girl”, hahaha because you knew it was me! The raccoons will miss you feeding them daily. I don’t know anyone else that would do that but you! You will truly be missed by so many people, we all love you so much! I can’t imagine my Salem college years without you there!! Thank you for always being there through all the ups and downs, always giving me the best advice and just being there to talk too. You were like my grandpa away from home.
We will keep you and your family in our prayers! Love you so much Lou!!

You have been such a good friend. I don't know how we will replace the support system you provided for my student athletes over the year here at Salem. They can thank you for helping become a better person from being a Salem. We will continue the standards you held for the students. RIP Lou. I hope they have a picnic table for you.
