Evelyn was a wonderful lady. Together with Art, they have a terrific family. I have wonderful childhood memories of being at the Stuart home or being with the Stuart family. Evelyn was always gracious and kind. Although....like most mothers, she had a caring way to lay a little law down too. She was a blessing to you and your friends! David and JoAnn Nuzum

Susan Martin and Art Stuart. Susan, I don't know if you remember me but I was a Freshman in the Band at East Fairmont when you were a Senior Honeybee. I remember your parents well as they went to Band Camp and on the trips that year to Nashville and Canada. I remember when after we did the field show and were getting our picture taken in the stands, Shelly Summers passed out and I think your Mom was the Nurse on that trip and she took care of her afterwards. Art, We knew each other in passing at School. So sorry to hear this. I went back to band camp with my daughter a few years ago and it still looks the same. The only thing different is now they have lights on the practice field. If those were there back in the 70's, Mrs. McConnell would have had us up there all night. Roger Carr- EFHS-1981.
