Obituary of Robert Carroll Hull

Robert Carroll Hull passed away October 9, 2020, at Fairmont Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Carroll was born in Fairmont on December 21, 1934, a son of the late Hubert Dodd Hull and Edna Alta Travis Hull. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Cora Nadine Hull. Carroll graduated from East Fairmont High School and a member of Valley Chapel United Methodist Church. He served two years in the U.S. Army and retired as a manager from Fairmont Supply after 38 years of service. Carroll loved camping at Holly River, watching and feeding the birds, and walking his dog, Dutchess. He is survived by three daughters and one son, Debra Sue (Roger) Miller of Fairmont, Jay Patrick (Robin) of Wisconsin, Sheila Kay (David) Dayton of Washington, WV, and Kerry Michele (David) Higgins of Barrackville, WV. He is also survived by three nephews and one niece, Ronald (Janet) Kujawa, Mark (Yvonne) Wilson, Rick (Yvette) Wilson, and Kathy (William) Kalisay, and seven grandchildren, Jeremy Miller, Lakin and Chloe Higgins, Madison and Isaac Harris, and Sandria and Patrick Hull. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Sue Hull; brother, Hubert D. Hull, Jr.; two sisters, Ida Lou Wilson and Dorotha and brother-in-law Elias Kujawa; a son-in-law, Gregory Harris; a nephew, Brad Hull; and a niece, Beverly Reynolds. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Andrew Tennant officiating.
