Growing up in Pleasant Valley, with Bill being one of my best friends. I was profoundly influenced by Patty. She more than anyone, is best classified as my "second mother". After I left Fairmont I always enjoyed stopping and visiting when I came back to town. I left her home feeling as if I were continually treated as part of her family.
I've maintained that a person's life worth is measured by the legacy that they leave. In Patty's case she leaves the finest family I have ever known. Her sons, their families, grandchildren have been blessed to have had Patty and Bill as counsel, educators, and parents. She will be missed.
