Obituary of Patricia Ann Fisher
Patricia Ann Fisher, 78, of Pleasant Valley, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Fairmont Regional Medical Center. She was born December 11, 1938 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late Russell H. and Beatrice M. Boylen Parker. She is survived by her husband James “Bill” Fisher.
Mrs. Fisher was a 1956 graduate of Rivesville High School. She was a member of the Valley Chapel United Methodist Church. Patricia formerly worked for Westinghouse Corporation in the Seal Beam Department where she met her loving husband of 56 years and previously worked for Lipson Jewelry Store in Fairmont. She was a den mother for Valley Chapel Cub Scout Pack #7. She enjoyed league bowling at Valley Lanes, dancing with the Y Squares in Fairmont, and attending her son’s sporting events. Patricia loved working on needle point and crocheting, as well as traveling to the Outer Banks, NC for vacations.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons: Bill and his wife Terri Fisher of Conowingo, MD; and Dan and his wife Carolyn Fisher of Fairmont; grandchildren: James Michael and his wife Miranda Fisher, Logan and his wife Lauren Fisher, Ryan Fisher and his fiance Courtney Webb, Sydney Fisher, and Ian Fisher; a great-grandson, Liam Fisher; two brothers: Donald L and his wife Judy Parker, of Alabama; and Richard and his wife Linda Parker, of Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Parker, as well as her brothers: Russell “Bill” Parker, and infant brother Jackie Parker.

Friends and family may visit the Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 2PM until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM, and Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 10 AM until 11AM. The funeral will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11AM with Reverend Andrew Tennant officiating. Interment will follow at the Arnettsville Cemetery, Arnettsville, WV.
